PFIX is a skills sharing community utilizing workshops and mastermind groups, organized and supported by community members.
Our featured workshops are run as unconference style, start off with participants pitching their ideas, voting, the top ideas get assigned a room and time slot, and then off we go!
We try to include cooking demos in which the participants prepare the main meal for the potluck dinner and discussion capping the experience.
The mission is to educate and empower individuals in building sustainable and equitable local communities and realizing a just world.
The core themes we focus on includes food justice with cooking, gardening, and self empowerment for all ages including self-defense training, smartphone tech training, and inter-generational community building activities.
